THOSE REBELLIOUS TO GOD
As we have already shown in other articles, before anything else existed God the Father existed on His own.
Then at a point of time called the beginning, Christ was born to God the Father.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Christ then created many things.
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
Col 1:17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
SONS OF GOD
It is difficult to ascertain if the sons of God or stars were born before the creation of angels, so we will assume the sons of God were born first. These sons are the sons of Christ.
God the Father had only one Son.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
It would appear that the sons started off being obedient.
Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.
Lucifer, who is a son of God, and is also a star, was put on the earth with a great number of other sons of God and angels.
He was put in a very high position on earth as he had a throne.
Isa 14:12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
Isa 14:13 For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;
He allowed thoughts of power and conquest to dwell in his mind, together with other stars and or sons of God and or angels, he formed an alliance to take over the very throne of God.
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
Satan is not mentioned regarding this alliance but it is quite certain he was in this as much as possible.
Gen 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
This alliance caused tremendous damage to the universe, the earth was ruined, it was without form and void and God had to renew the earth. This act of rebellion is also what caused the death of the dinosaurs, which inhabited the earth along with the spirit beings who were put here under the leadership of Lucifer.
The sons of God, stars and some angels, continued on after the creation of Adam and Eve to thwart the plans of Almighty God. Though they try they will never be victorious over the Great Creator God and His Son Jesus Christ.
ORIGINAL MAN
After a great deal of time, millions of years, from when the sons of God, stars and angels were on the earth, God created original man.
This is not Adam, this is man in the first chapter of the Bible. At the original creation of man, both man and women were created together.
Gen 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Gen 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Original man was created with the holy spirit of power, and therefore was capable of having the knowledge of eternal life.
However they became rebellious over time and degenerated in homosexuals and lesbians, they turned their backs on God.
Rom 1:21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
Rom 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
Rom 1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
Original man rejected God and the holy spirit, God destroyed them with a flood.
Psa 104:28 What You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good.
Psa 104:29 You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
Psa 104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth.
2Pe 3:4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
2Pe 3:5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,
2Pe 3:6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.
THE STARS
They differ in glory.
1Co 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
Job 22:12 “Is not God in the height of heaven? And see the highest stars, how lofty they are!
Jdg 5:20 They fought from the heavens; The stars from their courses fought against Sisera.
Dan 8:10 And it grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them.
Jud 1:13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
Mat 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Rev 12:4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
Job 25:5 If even the moon does not shine, And the stars are not pure in His sight,
Mat 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
Some of the stars have names. One is wormwood.
Rev 8:10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
Rev 8:11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
ANGELS
Now let’s look at angels, it would appear that their main role is to help humans on their walk to salvation and to be messengers of God. It would make sense then if they were created after the failure of some of the sons and stars as shown above.
Christ created the angels which are created beings, it would appear by the following scriptures that the angels have roles as helpers, workers, they are below Christ in power and authority and in every way, as they simply are not on the same level as Christ in anything, however they are helpers to God, and their job is to help and serve us as we head towards salvation.
Heb 1:5 For to which of the angels did He ever say: “YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU”? And again: “I WILL BE TO HIM A FATHER, AND HE SHALL BE TO ME A SON”?
Heb 1:6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM.”
Heb 1:7 And of the angels He says: “WHO MAKES HIS ANGELS SPIRITS AND HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE.”
Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels has He ever said: “SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, TILL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES YOUR FOOTSTOOL”?
Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
Psa 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
Psa 91:12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
Mat 4:11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
However some of the angels rebelled too.
Rev 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Psa 78:49 He cast on them the fierceness of His anger, Wrath, indignation, and trouble, By sending angels of destruction among them.
2Pe 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
MAN – ADAM AND EVE
As we know Adam and Eve were put in the garden of Eden and had to make a choice. God told them not to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
However Satan tempted Eve, he told her she would not die if she ate the fruit of the tree, but rather she would become like God.
She chose to ignore what God had told them, and she ate of the fruit of the tree.
This decision has brought a great deal of pain and suffering to man. However man has to decide for himself what path he will follow. If it is to truth and life or disobedience to God and His laws, which will end in sorrow and death.
Down through time, God has had those who were obedient to Him, but the greater majority of mankind have rejected God and His laws. However a great deal of people have not even known God either or known of Him.
God has a calling, those He wants in His church, He calls, some listen and heed. Some spend a lot of time in His word the Bible. Unfortunately, there are some who do not want to have a part in God’s word, or the way of life that leads to happiness.
God has a plan and the ones He calls fit into that plan. As stated above, some people heed the calling and develop their character, changing to become like God in the way they think and act.
Others are indifferent and are very concerned with the worldly matters. Work, friends, TV and other things that side track people off the track.
It is up to the individual, God will not plead with people, we have to heed and obey God. It will not be easy, but is anything worth having easy to obtain.
