UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE
God cannot tell a lie, but the bible, which is written by God, seems to be full of lies.
Tit 1:2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,
2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
There is a massive reason, why the bible is impossible to understand; unless God; or Christ gives the correct understanding. Christ can give us the understanding of God the father.
1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Only God the Father, and Jesus Christ know each other.
Mat 11:27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
The knowledge of God the Father, and Jesus Christ is a massive mystery.
Col 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
It is eternal life to correctly know God the Father, And Jesus Christ.
Joh 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
The big question is: WHY IS THE BIBLE IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND, UNLESS GOD; OR CHRIST GIVE THE UNDERSTANDING?
The correct answer will show unbelievable love, and patience from God the Father toward mankind. God and Christ have already showed great love for mankind; who, apart from the very few, have always rejected God.
In the original creation; God gave mankind the knowledge of himself. This means that the humans in the first creation had eternal life inherent. The whole human creation in the first creation degenerated into absolute immorality, so God destroyed them.
Rom 1:21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. [read the full chapter]
God destroyed humans, and dinosaurs etc. from the first creation, and destroyed the face of the earth.
Psa 104:29 You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
2Pe 3:6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.
Psa 104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth.
God destroyed the face of the earth, and all animals because of sin. God then renewed the face of the earth, and created Adam and Eve; and land animals. Adam and Eve were given the choice of eating the tree of life, which is obeying Jesus Christ: or eating of the tree of good and evil, which is following the Devil. They chose to follow the Devil. They died spiritually the moment they sinned by following the Devil.
Mankind’s only hope of attaining eternal life was Jesus dying on the cross.
God made the tree of life [eternal life] unavailable.
Gen 3:24 So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
Joh 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Mankind, since Adam and Eve [except for the very few] have not had eternal life available. This means they cannot blaspheme God’s Spirit. All humanity [except those who God calls] will be resurrected back to physical life, and offered eternal life. If they persevere to the end with God’s spirit, they will be given eternal life.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Eze 37:13 Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.
Eze 37:14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.’ ”
Mankind in the first creation were given the knowledge of God: they rejected God, and were destroyed. [There were some who obeyed God in the first creation, and were not destroyed with the majority.]
Mankind in the Adamic creation were not given the knowledge of God; they will eventually be offered eternal life.
That is why the bible is impossible to understand unless God or Christ gives the understanding. If you understand the bible: you know God, and have eternal life. Most people would blaspheme Gods spirit if they had it, just as they did in the first creation.
These two verses give the reason why the knowledge of God is unavailable.
Hos 4:1 Hear the word of the LORD, You children of Israel, For the LORD brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “There is no truth or mercy Or knowledge of God in the land.
Hos 4:2 By swearing and lying, Killing and stealing and committing adultery, They break all restraint, With bloodshed upon bloodshed.
We should live on this earth by keeping Gods Ten Commandments: God would eventually give us the knowledge of Himself and Christ, if we genuinely keep the Ten Commandments.
There is not one mistake in the bible.
